Emergency Rooms Could be Doing More

It's about time that emergency rooms get more serious about treating the psychological aspects of opiate overdoses. ER's need to send patients home with resources for psychological support, but also with the first few days if not weeks of buprenorphine therapy. Research is showing that doing so is keeping patients sober and jump-starting the recovery process.
